Maxi-Seal 50 4lt + 2 lt
Maxi-Seal is an acrylic solvent-based polyurethane two component (A + B) . Maxi-Seal is suitable for continuous protection of cement based coatings on interior and exterior high traffic , exhibits increased resistance to water based polyurethane.
We recommend choosing this polyurethane for floors and wet areas such as bathrooms, for the most resistance and waterproofing. Application : We recommend making the addition of 1 part of component B (hardener) into 2 parts of component A by mechanical agitation. Doing the right mix will avoid the appearance of craters or brightness differences. Before applying sealants, it is essential to check that the surface is dry and free of grease and dust. Depending on weather conditions and ventilation of the work space, always leave a minimum of 24 to 48 hours before applying Maxi-Seal on microcement. Apply the second coat after 8 hours, never wait more than 48 hours . Sand the first coat of polyurethane with 400 grit sandpaper.
For the lifetime of the product subsequent to the mix (optimal Pot-life 60 min), mixed with measures recommended amount according to the needs of the application . Before stepping on the sealed surface, let dry polyurethane Maxi-Seal at least a week. Polyurethanes reach all its hardness and chemical resistance after two weeks. Although Maxi-Seal is resistant to chemicals, we recommend using mild soaps for cleaning. We discourage the use of bleach to prolong the life of the sealant. Do not use detergents before these two weeks.
For best results always use Maxi-Prime acrylic sealer before Maxi-Seal 50.
